In this Third Edition of "Be Jazz" we are pleased to introduce  one of the most influential figures in modern jazz history, Mr Miles Davis. In this new playlist we will focus on his electrc & fusion period of the 70 ".

Miles Dewey Davis III (Alton, May 26, 1926 - Santa Monica, September 28, 1991), known as Miles Davis, was a trumpeter and jazz composer.

This is one of the most important and influential figures in jazz history, along with artists such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker and John Coltrane. Miles's career, spanning fifty years of jazz history runs along the entire second half of the twentieth century, characterized by its constantly evolving and seeking new artistic paths: Davis participates with equal force of bebop and cool, as the vanguard hardbop and jazz, particularly in his shed modal fusion and rock. The sound of his trumpet is absolutely characteristic for its use of the Harmon mute steel, which gave him a more personal and intimate, the sound is smooth and melodic, based on short notes, aiming at lyricism and introspection.
